This source was refreshing to find instead of a website. It was interesting to read a speech that Giuseppe Garibaldi said. It helped me to better understand who he was and where he was coming from. This speech connects to my project because it shows his leadership towards his troops as he is encouraging them.

He said it to gain friends and followers to fight with him as he led them into battle. It really suits and backs up my point on how he shows nationalism.

This source was helpful in connecting and understanding the connection between the Austro-Prussian War and the Third Italian War of Independence. It was helpful to have a deeper understanding of the two wars to understand the importance Giuseppe Garibaldi had in it.
